Ken Dixon

Ken Dixon is a candidate who promises peace and security in a world of chaos and the leadership to avoid devastating tribulation... well, hey, who wouldn't want that?

Problem is, those who believe in that silly separation of church and state idea might have a bone to pick with Mr. Dixon. Ken Dixon is a man who believes that political experience is actually a detriment to running this country and all we really need is a man "who will be humble before God and do the will of God regardless of circumstances." He shies away from questions about himself, saying the race is not about him, but God's will for the United States. As for his chances in the 2000 election, Dixon says: "For me to run for president without verification by God is ludicrous. Unless God verifies to the nation that what I am revealing is truth from God, I cannot expect to win over the least of the candidates."

While his religious fervor might tempt most people into dismissing Dixon as another far-right crackpot, his stand on some of the issues is surprisingly astute. As president, Dixon vows he would never involve U.S. forces in a war the America didn't have the "will to win." His stand on abortion is even more surprising, saying God has given human beings the freedom to disobey and since that suggests God is pro-choice, abortion shouldn't be forbidden. (Of course, the woman will still burn in hell for having one.) His views on when a fetus becomes a human being are also unusually well thought-out for this normally knee-jerk issue for the religious right.
