The
Multicapitalists feel that two socialist
reforms, namely the graduated income
tax and the centralized control of credit
and interest rates, have created inflation
and other social woes. Their version
of "Free Capitalism" elevates people
through increased opportunity, not financial
assistance. An interesting aspect of
their platform is their advocacy for
moving much of the control to the state
level, so those unhappy with their state's
legislation can move to another state
where the government is more in tune
with their needs.
OFFICIAL
PLATFORM STATEMENT
FROM THE OFFICIAL WEB PAGE
We
believe that moral legislation ...does
not belong in the hands of any elected
officials. The only true financial
justice would be to adopt a Multicapitalist
economy that regulated OPPORTUNITY
instead of wealth so all people could
have a fair chance at success and
happiness. We operate only as a "Mole
Party" that stealthily places itself
in the midst of existing parties.
THE
DARKHORSE2000 FISHY-EYED ASSESSMENT
Since
the Multicapitalist party fields no candidates either on a national
or state level, they're not contenders in the coming election.
They function only as a body to advocate their philosophy and
should probably be considered a policy organization rather than
an active political party.
We're
still pondering the amusing concept of a stealthy mole party.
