Pat Buchanan

Welcome to GoPatGo.com

The place to go when it's time to reform.

Content Check:

We visited Pat Buchanan's Web site and spent a fair amount of time poking around. We were about to proclaim the site bland but effective, when we were suddenly struck by the suspicion that some content developer somewhere is playing very cruel joke on Mr. Buchanan. This site is actually trying to make Pat lose the election. Before you pooh-pooh our conspiracy theory, check out the evidence in some of the content issues we found:

Item #1: When we visited the site, it was Wednesday, November 17 at 12:20 a.m. Yet the very prominent time/date stamp showed it to be November 16, 9:06 a.m. Was that evil content developer suggesting that Pat was already attempting to turn back the clock, even before election day?

Item #2: The quote by Thomas Sowell: "When all is said and done, Pat Buchanan does not have the power to send a single American soldier anywhere -- and probably never will." As far as we know, a president does have a little say in something like that, doesn't he? We checked the link again to be sure we hadn't stumbled upon a spoof site. Nuh uh.

Item #3: Some of the highlights of Pat's biography:

From 1966 through 1974, he (Pat B.) was a confidant and assistant to Richard Nixon. (Yes, the "I'm not a crook" guy.)
From 1985 to 1987, Mr. Buchanan was the White House director of communications for Ronald Reagan. (Yes, the guy with the wattles who thought we could reel back nuclear weapons like a worm on a fission line.)
In 1996, he won the New Hampshire primary, and went on to finish second to Senator Dole. (Yes, second to Bob "The Loser" Dole.) Need we say more?

Navigation Nags:

None. It was easy clickin' all the way down to the bottom of the barrel.

Bonus DarkHorse 2000 Tip:

If you're considering a bid for the presidency, don't let this content developer write the text for your site. YOU WILL LOSE.
